The new 7digital is here. Let us tell you a little of what we have achieved with all those months of swearing at computers, computers swearing at us, late-night pizzas and exploring the undeniable truth of the pleasure/ pain theory:

• New design - A much cleaner and easier to navigate site with some neat new features - including your history path; tags (or genres) for discovering more of what you like; 1 minute preview of many tracks - no more 30 seconds - plus loads more.
• Locker - All the music and video you have bought from any 7digital service in one easy to access area. This means you can access your downloads from anywhere with an internet connection. If your PC decides to crash you can re-download all the tracks from your locker at no extra cost. Simple, safe storage.
• Pricing - We have introduced 50p downloads on many new releases plus we will always have huge reductions on a massive selection of albums. We aim to break the barriers of digital retail by offering flexible pricing throughout.
• Multi Format - Over 50% of the 7digital catalogue is now available in MP3 - the universal format. And we are now pleased to be able to offer our entire EMI catalogue without Digital Rights Management (DRM). We still offer music and video in multiple formats so you can choose which is best for you.
• High Quality - Our EMI content is not only DRM-free but it is also available in 320kbps MP3 - near perfect CD quality! iTunes can only provide this at 256kbps - in the AAC format, which is far more restrictive than MP3.
• Web Based - You can use 7digital.com with any web browser on any computer. Unlike other services, there is no need to install an application to get your downloads.
